"Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting...."

Hey Y'all! Know it's been a week since I posted. I am trying to get better at this. I am sorry! 

So let's get down to it. 

Last Saturday , Dani K had her first Karate tournament. She has been doing Hapkido for about a month now and when she started she knew the summer tournament was one of the things she wanted to do. So we all packed up and headed to local park where they have a gym and proceeded to watch the Hapkido 12' summer tournament.Where we stayed from 9:00am-3:30 (it was a long day!)

      Dani is a White belt now but when she competed last Saturday she was a no belt, something kind of iffy in a tournament. Well she showed them! In her first event, breaking , she came in fourth out of five. Her speech was amazing and she broke through a board on her second try, using her sweeping side kick. The first try she went with 2 boards and that didn't work out so well (Remember she has only been doing this three weeks ) She did a great job & We were super proud of her.

Well After the breaking event came the sparring event! This is where my oldest baby showed her stuff! She took down 2 boys and one was 2 belts higher than her. She won first place! One proud Momma right here!!!
